📖 NIKO: THE WOLF OF BASE
Chapter 3 — The Three Blue Marks (1/2)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
By the time the howl faded, ToshiMart was no longer silent.
Creatures gathered at the edge of the blue circle, watching NIKO with the careful eyes of those who had seen many things claim greatness and few things earn it.
The cat in the blue jacket stepped forward first.
“You got a name, wolf?”
NIKO looked at him.
The question felt simple, but inside it was something bigger. A name was not just a sound. Not in the trenches. A name was a ticker, a banner, a promise, a risk. A name could become a movement or disappear in a day.
NIKO lowered his head.
He did not have one.
The cat smirked.
“No name. No pack. No chart. No floor. No lore. You’re early even for early.”
Laughter moved through the crowd.
Not cruel laughter. Trench laughter. The kind people used when they were scared to believe in anything too quickly.
NIKO did not move.
Then an old dog stepped out from behind the vending machine.
He was gray around the muzzle, with one torn ear and a collar made of broken contract tags. His eyes were tired, but clear. Every creature gave him room.
The old dog looked at NIKO’s forehead.
Three blue marks glowed there.
“Those are not decorations,” the old dog said.
The crowd went quiet.
NIKO lifted his eyes.
The old dog came closer.
“I have seen marks like that only once before. Not on a wolf. Not on a coin. On a chain before it became a home.”
The first mark flashed.
“Ethereum,” said the old dog. “The old foundation. The place where much of this began. Expensive, crowded, powerful, impossible to ignore. It taught the world what could be built.”
The second mark flashed.
“Base,” he continued. “The new ground. Fast enough for the pack. Cheap enough for the small wallet. Strong enough for builders who want more than noise.”
The third mark did not flash.
It burned.
The old dog stepped back.
“And that one…”
His voice changed.
“That one is Loyalty.”
No one laughed now.
NIKO felt the word enter him.
Loyalty.
It was heavier than hype.
Older than memes.
Stronger than fear.
The old dog looked at the crowd.
“Most tokens have a chart before they have a soul. This one has a soul before he has a chart.”
The cat in the blue jacket folded his arms.
“That sounds expensive.”
The frog croaked, “Sounds dangerous.”
The bull grinned. “Sounds bullish.”
The old dog ignored them.
He looked directly at NIKO.
“You were born for a reason. But the trenches will not follow you because you glow. They will test you. They will test your paws, your teeth, your patience, your dev, your holders, your liquidity, your burns, your words, and your silence.”
NIKO listened.
The old dog stepped closer.
“If you want to become more than another animal on a chart, remember this: the pack does not need a perfect wolf. The pack needs a wolf who stays.”
NIKO’s blue marks pulsed.
The old dog nodded.
“Then you need a name.”
The crowd leaned in.
Names were powerful in ToshiMart. Some names were jokes. Some were weapons. Some were traps. The wrong name could doom a token before it launched. The right name could echo forever.
The old dog studied the wolf.
“Black fur. White paws. Blue flame. Three marks. Born from silence. Chose Base. Carries loyalty like a scar.”
He paused.
Then he said it.
“NIKO.”
The vending machine behind them sparked.
The Base button flashed.
Somewhere, a chart that did not yet exist drew its first invisible candle.
NIKO.
The wolf heard the name and knew it was his.
Not because it sounded mighty.
Because it sounded like something the pack could say.
Something simple.
Something sharp.

Chapter 2 — Born in the Trenches (2/2)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Solana flashed in purple and green.
Base pulsed in blue.
The moment he looked at Base, the three marks on his forehead burned bright.
The machine shook.
The lights went out.
Every creature in ToshiMart froze.
Then the Base button lit up like a moon.
NIKO raised one white paw and pressed it.
The machine made no sound.
No token fell.
No prize dropped.
Instead, the floor beneath him opened into a circle of blue light.
A voice rose from somewhere deeper than code.
“Why do you choose Base?”
NIKO did not know how to speak yet.
So he answered the only way a wolf could.
He howled.
The sound tore through ToshiMart.
It passed through every aisle, every chart, every dead chat, every locked LP, every forgotten wallet, every broken promise.
It reached traders sleeping beside their phones.
It reached builders staring at empty dashboards.
It reached holders who had sworn they would never believe again.
And across the Base chain, notifications began to wake.
One by one.
Ping.
Ping.
Ping.
The first howl had gone out.
The wolf had chosen his chain.
Now the chain would choose whether to answer.
🐺 Diamond Paws forever.

📖 NIKO: THE WOLF OF BASE
Chapter 2 — Born in the Trenches (1/2)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
NIKO was not born in a palace.
He was not born under green candles, influencer posts, exchange listings, or polished whitepapers.
He was born in the trenches.
The trenches were not a place you could find on a map. They existed wherever hope and risk met. They lived inside late-night chats, half-built websites, launch charts, failed raids, unpaid banners, community calls, and wallets that had seen better days.
The trenches were where people learned fast or lost everything.
Every chain had them.
Ethereum had ancient trenches, filled with old warriors who remembered gas wars and mint nights.
Solana had speed trenches, where coins rose and died before a slow trader could blink.
Base had younger trenches, but they were hungry. Cleaner. Faster. Full of builders, dreamers, and meme soldiers looking for the next thing that could last.
That was where NIKO opened his eyes.
At first, he moved alone.
He walked across abandoned liquidity pools where ghosts of old charts still flickered beneath his paws. He passed tokens with names nobody remembered. He saw communities frozen in time, their last messages still pinned like tombstones.
“Big news soon.”
“Dev is cooking.”
“Marketing starts tomorrow.”
“We are so back.”
NIKO stopped at each one.
He read the words.
He felt what had happened there.
The fear.
The greed.
The hope.
The betrayal.
He did not understand all of it yet, but he understood enough.
The trenches were filled with lost packs.
Not because the people were weak.
Because they had followed false alphas.
That truth settled inside him like a stone.
A wolf without a pack is dangerous.
A pack without loyalty is doomed.
NIKO kept walking.
The blue flame on his tail lit the path behind him, but never burned what it touched. It was not ordinary fire. It did not consume. It revealed.
When he passed over a broken contract, the flame showed the hidden mint function.
When he stepped near a fake renounce, the flame turned sharp and bright.
When he crossed a liquidity trap, his three blue marks pulsed.
He began to understand.
He was not only a wolf.
He was a guardian.
The chain had created him as an answer to something.
Not to stop every loss.
Not to promise every chart would go up.
Not to make every holder rich overnight.
Those were the lies of ruggers.
NIKO was created to protect something deeper.
Conviction.
Community.
The belief that a meme could be more than a pump.
By dawn, if dawn could be said to exist on-chain, NIKO reached the edge of a place called ToshiMart.
ToshiMart was strange.
It was part market, part myth, part battlefield. Every aisle was filled with coins, memes, stickers, banners, and dreams wrapped in ticker symbols. Neon signs buzzed overhead. Crypto cats, frogs, dogs, bulls, bears, and creatures with no name moved through the glowing corridors.
Some were legends.
Some were scams.
Some were still deciding.
NIKO entered quietly.
The moment his paws touched the floor, heads turned.
A cat in a blue jacket narrowed his eyes.
A frog holding a chart stopped mid-croak.
A bull with laser eyes stepped aside.
Someone whispered, “That one’s new.”
Another replied, “No. That one’s different.”
NIKO walked past them all.
At the center of ToshiMart stood an old vending machine. It was covered in stickers, tickers, wallet addresses, and scratched-out promises. Nobody knew who built it. Nobody knew why it still worked.
Above the machine, in flickering blue letters, were three words:
CHOOSE YOUR CHAIN
NIKO stared at the machine.
Ethereum glowed in silver.
