@jackneblung Oh thank you! I am not frequently animating for games, so you complement hits hard! cheers!
English

@2Interrogacao Thank you so much! and yeah, thats an attempt for decopyrighting it for a commercial project) among other things
English

@Nikolay_Tsys Wow, that's a kind of organic interpretation?, it's incredible!
English

@Nikolay_Tsys I will say, in spite of my feelings about the model, you did a really good job with the head. it really captures the feel and look of the original, while being visually distinct. Really like the head.
giving you a follow. cant wait to see more of your stuff pop up in my feed. 💚

@RoundYellowBird Yeah thats Katō Izumi statue, he is awesome btw, so I wanted that basic shape and wibe.
Damn I would love to see that fella in game=( and this scenario would be really cool to experience
English

@Nikolay_Tsys Ah, right - I forgot about the copyright thing. (I assume that's why other SCP games tend to change up the model?)
With the tentacles that retract, imagine how scary it would be to see its shadow approach you, only to turn and see a shape that couldn't have made the shadow.
English

@RoundYellowBird Oh yeah! definitely! I had a choice here, make it concrete dummy but with another shape to avoid copyright or swap the internals but with more of an original silhouette. Though choice, but here are the results.
English

@Nikolay_Tsys I think making it biological and super detailed really detracts from the charm and the uncanny feeling of the original. It feels way less anomalous as you start to add detail that makes it look "plausible".
English

@Nikolay_Tsys That ain't even a statue anymore but you know what sure SCP doesn't have a True canon why the hell not
English

@RavagerXav86787 I thought about more like a hardened clay, but real-time animation goes with some disadvantages( one of those is a bendy-fleshy feel with a smooth skinning, tried to get what i could from it.
English

@Turbo_Chomp Thank you! thats mean a lot! oh nice idea with sound design!
English

@Nikolay_Tsys It does an amazing job at staying recognizable. It was very easy to tell its meant to be 173. Also, despite it looking more organic, the idea of it making grating stone sounds could be unnerving in a cool way
English

@Templo_ep1c Thank you! and nahh, this game is canceled for sure=( But I could probably use those in my game, when i get back to it) here is a sneak:
English

@KillaJtb6tw Its hard to compete with og lore, so this is basically my take on "how does it move?" + visual representation of an "all seeing eye" + some basic organic development for it to be able to snap necks by tentacles with such limited mobility + it was kinda of a shell og-ly + legal
English

@Nikolay_Tsys is there lore based off this? like a whole page because this seems super interesting and cool of an alternative version of 173
English

@KillaJtb6tw For sure i have more, did a bunch of those before game was canceled, will share others soon, thanks for your interest!

English

@Nikolay_Tsys Do you have more on this because this seems hella interesting and I’m now just finding out about you
English

@Im_Jus_Annie Thank you! This fella was done for a canceled game, I made more of those, will share later )

English

@Nikolay_Tsys Dude you should seriously stick with SCPs, your talents will STRIVE here
English

@cheesybear1337 Thanks! and yeah proportions on this one was a challenge, wanted to preserve as mush as legally possible from original, without stealing from a sculptor who made it in a first place. Here is some early development sketches:

English

@Nikolay_Tsys I really like this design, but imo you should make it more "proportionate"
English

@zuggaloz Thanks! That was made for a canceled game, and original is pretty much a piece of copywrited art, so some compromises needed to pull if of. Other artists push more in to STATUE feel, I wanted to preserve original silhouette more, so to make it a bit different from the rest.
English

@Iceysupreme360 Kinda capable )) Even did this animation that no one would ever see)
