@brian_mutiga Dowry was( still is) the equivalent of a Marriage certificate. It shows commitment and ability to take up new responsibility for a wife and children. Men who don't want to pay dowry are never serious about the relationship.

@Maryian96 These cultures has held most communities above Kikuyu.. Kikuyu leads in broken families, boys taking their mothers names(weird), women killing their partners(less regard to men role in the society), gaysm (lack of father figure) and lack of regard to other cultures.
