@jblickenstaff @toddowyoung While using silent mode the camera is forced to use the electronic shutter. Distortion, flickering and banding may occur in certain lighting situations detailed in the reference manual. You can try to remedy this by matching your shutter speed with the frequency of the light.

@RobChurch79 The WR-1 is a compatible commander unit while connected to to the Z 8 camera body. However, the Z 8 alone is not a commander for other WR-1 units without it's own WR-1 attached.

@RobChurch79 The Z 8 itself cannot directly be used as a wireless commander for the WR-1 unit. WR-1 units are used with WR-R11a/WR-R10 or WR-T10 wireless remote controllers or with other WR-1 remote controllers, with the WR-1 units functioning as either transmitters or receivers.

@Mike_Crivellos @NikonUSA Regarding Self-Timer mode, your Nikon camera will lock focus when the sequence is initiated. However, you can choose to refocus your shots in Interval Timer shooting mode available with select Nikon cameras.

@NikonUSASupport Why after a couple of years snapbridge app stops connecting to the camera. Why is this happening??? Updates from the app do not work! FYI. As in update to new version is the one not working. Thanks. (I have the NIKON P1000)

@Mike_Crivellos @NikonUSA Great question! Exposure compensation does not effect overall autofocus speed. It can however, be effected by other factors or shooting conditions such as contrast and subject detection.

@NikonUSA I got an FM2 that I need the shutter repaired on, will only take one photo then I have to open it up, it’s off track somehow. Obviously not shooting film with it right now :( Side note I just bought the Zfc and I love the old school mechanical controls on the digital format

Hey @NikonUSA Any suggestions for cleaning the WHITE residue off the rubber lens grips? Asking for a friend; 70-200mm F/2.8 isn't lookin' fresh.

@helvysierrav The Z50 does have Creative Lighting Systems. You would need a flash unit like the SB 5000 for the Z50 to take advantage of this system.

@NikonUSASupport Hello, I have a query. I made the purchase of the Z50 for its CLS function, but it does not appear in the camera menu, I checked the page in Japan and it also indicates that the Z50 has this function. Could you please tell me how to activate this function?

@NikonUSASupport @schudel_ralph Well, I’m not a verified Twitter user, so @elonmusk won’t let me DM you to get the support I need. Plus the Snapbridge app itself tells me that my iOS compatibility is a known issue, and I’m using 2.10.0 and my firmware is up to date. So what would you like me to do?

Another day of asking @NikonUSASupport when there will be a software update that will allow my camera to connect on iOS 16.1.3 this has been KILLING my work flow. Please help!

@NikonUSASupport @schudel_ralph Any update to this? I’m shooting a festival next weekend and now I have to bring my iPad mini with me in order to edit on the fly, then Hotspot back over to my phone to send images on site.

@NikonUSA I'm confused why do you say that your products will ship the next business day if they don't. I was told today that my product was allocated and would ship. It is well past 5pm and has not shipped. Please advise and upgrade the shipping method to get it to me on time.

@NikonUSA Hi, I adore using your camera and lens products! I have a pair of Nikon consumer binoculars from about 5–8 years ago and the rubber on the binocular body is now leaching and too sticky to hold. What suggestions might you have to address this issue? Many thanks!

@MarissaAngell As this battery is non-Nikon, we cannot comment. Please try using a Nikon battery to avoid the issues you are experiencing.

@NikonUSASupport The question was about my need to worry about this situation. Do I need to worry if the charging light behaves like this?

@NikonUSASupport don’t know who to ask if this is something to worry about (I’ve bought two extra batteries and they both have this problem and they apparently haven’t charged as they die almost immediately)
