We’re doubling down on GNSS-denied navigation. This update is simple: @delian_ai is now focused on a small device (half the size of an iPhone) that straps to the belly of a UAV and lets it fly from Point A to Point B without GPS/GNSS. That device is OSIRIS. We believe it will be a critical enabler for the era of autonomous defence, across deep strike missions and C-UAV interceptors. Before GPS, pilots navigated using maps and their own sense of motion. Imagine this running 20 times a second in an £80 computer onboard a drone. This is OSIRIS in layman's terms. This self-localization problem has been the Holy Grail of mobile robots (i.e., drones) for decades. I spent over a decade of my career working to make it low-cost, robust and deployable on consumer devices. When I started Delian I considered it "solved". Getting into the defense industry, I saw marketing from drone companies advertising how "accurate" their navigation is under jamming. Oh boy, was that marketing wrong. When my co-founder, Ioannis, first visited Kyiv, 🇺🇦 drone manufacturers named the same No. 1 problem to solve: a robust yet low-cost optical navigation module. Again and again. Countless stories since have shown how brittle or expensive the alternatives really are in the field. We shifted ever more resources to OSIRIS, with a permanent presence in Ukraine since February. Mark's article (link below) covers that story in detail. 3000km flown. Dozens of 50+km autonomous missions without GPS. Flying in snow, rain or light fog. Flying as low as 70m. Devices refurbished in hours after crash landings. OSIRIS now has clients from multiple nations, including companies with formidable drone manufacturing capacity, plus constant inbound from manufacturers that heard of our robustness through the grapevine. We have built dozens of devices and will very soon go into mass production. To that end we’re setting up Delian 🇺🇦. The rest of the world has clearly seen the need too. Cheap one-way kamikaze drones, like the Shahed or the FP-1, just work. They give deterrence of a scale and reach that would require massive air force investments. Nations are rallying to build fleets of Shahed-like clones, their "Strategic Air Force". Interceptors, their counter-measures, are becoming equally urgent. Regardless of the platform, deep strike or interceptor, one cornerstone is needed: navigating when GNSS/GPS is jammed or spoofed. OSIRIS solves this. So what changes for Delian? Our USV and EW efforts will continue as small, focused projects in our Athens🇬🇷 office. The vast majority of our resources, including 100% of our London🇬🇧 and Kyiv🇺🇦 offices, will be devoted to OSIRIS. So this is what we do now. Getting drones from point A to point B regardless of the enemy's Electronic Warfare and Air Defenses. This is the battle of battles for the drone race, our generation’s space race. It is being decided over Ukraine, and will shape who prevails in the conflicts to come.

Greece's Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis: The issue of the casus belli, declared by the Turkish Parliament in 1995, is a tremendous burden on Greek–Turkish relations. It is also a burden on Türkiye's path toward Europe and the West. My belief is that Türkiye could lift the casus belli. Not only would such a step be useful, but I believe it is something that is owed.

Turkey maintains a casus belli, keeps a large military force opposite them, and openly threatens: “We may come suddenly one night.” A country threatening invasion cannot complain that its neighbour refuses to remain defenceless.
