This Marks the end of NAWCQ 2026. Thank you to all who reached out and also respecting my time on the clock while judging. Sorry, I couldn’t take a photo with some of you or sign some stuff while working. The trip this time was to judge. I am glad i was able to help maintain your game state, prevent slow play, and diffuse tense situation. I tallied a total of 20+ rulings over the weekend and 5 player disagreements. Shoutouts fellow judges for the compassion and professionalism demonstrated at this event! Look forward to seeing you all again!

@Nyhmnim I still use Dragon shield and double sleeve with perfect fit inners but there is definitely a lot of variance between packs of sleeves

Can’t think of a harder fall off than Dragon Shield sleeves. I used to be a die hard fan of them and now the quality is just straight garbage. What is everyone using nowadays? I’m a Katana White enjoyer now

as someone who plays both games, the yugioh / pokemon beef feels like that one stupid generational conflict episode from avatar the last airbender
