I think Aphelion may be what they expected GamePass to be filled with. Passable, low budget, quick games that can make their investment back with that GamePass money. It could even be a viable business strategy. Make lots of games that cost very little and put them on GamePass.

Luckily for us #GamePass enjoyers video games are not like film and TV in that the indie, low budget sector tends to be the place where the most creative and delightful games come from.

I just finished Aphelion on #GamePass and it reminds me of an argument against Game Pass that I heard years ago that I disagreed with. It predicted that like Netflix, the majority of content would be mediocre and awesome content would be the exception rather than the rule.
