When the Loyalist were correctly theorized to be Imperium, Beatrix returning seemed very likely. I don’t think anyone could’ve predicted her becoming fused to her mech from being in The Land of Monsters. Maybe in Part 2 Kai’s time there will get mentioned, I’d really like that.
