Was born in Bat Galim (https://t.co/kyVS3TOMUU) when it was still legit to go bare foot to the beach. Returning from school was very meaningful.

Thank you to my colleagues from @wfuphysics, Provost Gillespie, Dean Krasas and VP for Research Prof. McAllister for taking time to celebrate the #APS fellowship with me. Adding to the joy, my students organized a surprise celebration, with many joining virtually from afar. ❤️

Focusing on physically simulated humanoids, we tackle both of these problems. We produce a SINGLE unified controller capable of a solving a wide range of tasks. The resulting controller is intuitive to control. Our core insight is that typical "tasks" can be extracted directly from motion capture data (e.g., AMASS, SAMP). 3/

By now you know that Hezbollah has been attacking Israel for the last 11 months, but did you know that they’ve also been attacking the entire Western world for the last 40 years?

The most important questions remain unanswered!! -Who is the founder of "Palestine"? -What year was "Palestine" founded? -What was the name of the first "Palestinian" president? What year was he elected or appointed? -Who were the members of the first "Palestinian" government? What year? -Did "Palestine" have a parliament or council? What year and what city? -Did "Palestine" have any form of constitution? Who are the framers? -What was the currency of "Palestine" and which authority printed it? -What does the term "Palestine" mean and where did it come from?

@gunnarthorst It is 11 minutes long, so the chances someone will hear it to the end are slim. But I liked the down-to-earth presentation. The scientific inaccuracies are not so important.

I asked NotebookLM to summarise our paper that just got accepted: “This research article presents a new model for understanding the operation of organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs). OECTs are a type of transistor that uses organic semiconductors and electrolytes, and they are being developed for applications in sensing, bio-interfacing, and neuromorphic computing. The article challenges the prevailing Bernards-Malliaras model, which assumes drift-dominated current transport in OECTs. Using detailed 2D device simulations, the authors demonstrate that high ion densities in OECTs lead to Debye screening, resulting in diffusion-dominated current transport. This finding is crucial because it implies that the threshold voltage in OECTs has a different meaning than in traditional field-effect transistors. The researchers also introduce an improved model that incorporates the diffusion-only transport mechanism and a refined understanding of the threshold voltage. The model is validated by experimental results obtained from PEDOT:PSS fiber-OECTs. The authors conclude that the diffusion-dominated regime is increasingly relevant due to advancements in materials design and doping efficiency. The article contributes to the understanding of OECTs by providing a new framework for analyzing their operation, particularly in the context of high ion densities.”
