@YeKyaBewkufiHai @Meluhhan This exact mindset is what scares me to move to village, Indian villages are full of casteist, classist oppressive mindset. Metros anyday better be it a box or a matchbox.!

I just realized my society has more people than my village. And my society is just 3.5 acres. Yes, just 3.5 acres. For India, high-rise cities are the future.

@NsNitinsinha Curvv is such an underrated giant of a car, very very comfortable for small families at a very reasonable price(currently) glad to have grabbed it. Will stand out as well due to low sales.!

Tata Curvv didn’t fail because of design or features. It struggled because Indian buyers value real space, comfort and clear value over just style. For the price, it felt too close to Nexon in cabin experience while rivals offered bigger interiors and stronger practicality, making families hesitate in the showroom. A relaunch on the Sierra platform with genuinely larger packaging, better rear comfort and stronger road presence could change the story completely. It could easily do 6-8k units per month.

In Norway, @indianviking1 pays ~44% of his salary in taxes and social security, and he’s okay with it. In return, he gets free healthcare and son’s education, pension and job-loss insurance. This is what Indian citizens want too. They're not anti-tax, instead want guaranteed social security and quality infra in return. Do read the full story: livemint.com/money/personal…

@Nirad_N @VarierAravind I never talked about reforms. Most reforms fall in the purview of the center. States can make changes in terms of promoting tech education, offering scholarships, incentives & connecting with Indian tech companies. He changed AP by doing exactly that! Notice exponential growth!

Hyderabad contributed around 10% of India’s software exports from STPI units in FY 1993–94, clearly DEBUNKING Chandrababu Naidu’s claim that the city was agrarian before he became Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 1995.👇🏻

@VarierAravind Naidu was NTR’s son-in-law, sitting MP and Finance Minister before becoming CM. Are you suggesting that he had no hand in the massive rise in revenue in 1993-1994 from 304.57 to 1173.64 crores? If the increase had been gradual, your argument would make sense. AP was agrarian!

As per Finfluencers- Don't buy a house early, it will take away all your freedom, emi will be more, instead start SIP and early investing. 20 years later- House is still not affordable. Buy a house on emi now and risk your retirement or buy a house in cash and let go of all your investment. Bechara salary class kiska sune and kya kare. Itna dara dia hai ye mat karo, wo mat karo, aisa karo, waisa karo. 🤔

Ajay turned 41 last month. Salary: ₹1.1 Cr CTC. Savings: ₹6.8 Cr. 2 kids. He thought this was the age of comfort. One Sunday, he visited a 4BHK in Gurgaon. Price: ₹5.2 Cr. Ajay did the math. Down payment: ₹3 Cr Loan: ₹2.2 Cr EMI: ₹2.4 lakh for 20 years At 41. He imagined 60-year-old Ajay still checking EMIs on the bank app. Still dependent on a job. Still afraid to say “no” at work. That night, he closed the brochure. He realised something simple: Buying the house was affordable. Losing freedom was not. Buying House in Metro’s its out of Budget for Many #FinancialPlanning #Home

From 'how many will they score?' to 'how did that just happen?' in 9 overs. A tale of one of the biggest collapses of India in the ODI World Cup history till date. Batting first, Sehwag and Sachin gave us a blazing start. When Sehwag got out, the score was 142/1 after 17.4 overs. Sachin had another century partnership with Gambhir as the pair added 125 runs in the next 22 overs. At this stage, India were cruising at 267/1 after 39.3 overs. They looked set for somewhere in the range of 350/370 with the likes of Yuvi, MS, Kohli & Yusuf Pathan still to bat. On 267, India lost the prized wicket of Sachin who departed after scoring yet another century (111). Like many times in the past (especially in the 90s), Sachin's wicket triggered a massive collapse and India added just 29 runs while losing the remaining 9 wickets in the next 10.3 overs. India's score went from 267-1 to 296 all out. Dale Steyn was the chief architect of Indian collapse taking a 5 wicket haul for 50 runs. SA chased down indian total with 2 balls remaining and won the game by 3 wickets. While India went on to win the world cup 2011, this epic collapse of '29/9' remains a traumatising memory forever.

For those saying Pune–Bengaluru should’ve come instead of Hyderabad–Bengaluru, understand this: these are different phases of the same larger high-speed corridor, not competing projects. The Pune–Hyderabad HSR can later be extended to Bengaluru, and stations like Thane and Hyderabad can work like junctions, enabling through-services in the future. So it’s not about independent lines it’s about building a connected network step by step. Even the Mumbai–Ahmedabad bullet train is designed with future branching in mind, with provisions like extra capacity at key nodes such as BKC and Thane.
Amey Kulkarni 🇮🇳@AmeyKulkarni_21

I feel rather than Hyderabad Chennai where there is no big city or even Tier 2 city, Pune Bengaluru should have been approved This route will have Satara, Kolhapur, Belgaon, Dharwad Hubballi as Tier 2 cities and Devnagere, Tumkuru as Tier 3 cities

Veteran actress Sharada Gaaru was recently given the JC Daniel Award, the highest film honor of Kerala Govt for her contribution to Malayalam cinema. While her body of work in Telugu cinema is well known, it was Malayalam cinema that actually gave her the recognition first. Sharada Gaaru's real name is Saraswati Devi, and she was from Tenali. She mostly played supporting roles in her initial Telugu movies, though she did play the heroine opposite ANR in Iddaru Mitrulu, for a long time she was mostly in second rung roles, appearing opposite comedians or side heroes. It was in 1965, that she got noticed as a lead actress in series of roles in Malayalam movies like Murappenu, Kattu Thulasi, Iruttinte Athmavu mostly opposite Prem Nazir. Her first national award came for Thulabharam in 1967, where she marries a trade union leader, who is murdered, leading to hard times, and out of desperation kills her own children and tries to commit suicide. Arrested she is defended in court by her former best friend, a lawyer. She went on to win the National Award twice after that for Swayamvaram(1972) and Nimmajnam( Telugu, 1978). Swayamvaram opposite Madhu, has her playing the role of a heroine, forced into a marriage she was against, and her struggle. In Nimmajanam she plays a Brahmin housewife who becomes victim of a rape and her trauma. The 1969 Telugu remake of Thulabaram, Manushulu Marali opposite Shoban Babu, was what made her a leading star in Telugu. She had a very succesful combo with Shoban Babu in fact during the 70s, a series of hits like Sharada, Balipeetam, Manavudu Daanavudu, Kaalam Marindi saw her become one of the leading heroines in Telugu. The 80s and 90s saw her shift into character roles, mostly playing chatracter roles or strong supporting roles. Movies like Pratidwani in 1986, showcased her ability to pull a movie on her own strength. Even after her success in Telugu cinema, she still kept acting in many memorable roles in Malayalam, where she got her major break, and which made her get noticed as a lead actress. Sharada Gaaru completely deserves the top honor given to her by the Kerala Govt, and she was also awarded the NTR Award in 2010 by Andhra Pradesh Govt for her contribution to cinema. She in fact was not active in recent times, kept away from public appearances, and this award ceremony by Kerala Govt saw her appear again.
