@Nandiniwhy Tesla is actually now competing with luxury EVs like the BMW iX1 LWB (₹ 10 lakh less), Volvo XC40 Recharge (₹ 10 lakh less), and Mercedes EQA (₹ 67 lakh) - all of which offer plusher cabins. The Model Y seems too expensive, especially without the Tesla fast-charging network.

@Nandiniwhy Honestly, I think they've misjudged our market with this pricing. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is about ₹ 14 lakh cheaper than the base Model Y, while the top-spec BYD Sealion 7 is ₹ 5 lakh less - both offer similar specs and more VFM.

Also, I don't know much about the Model Y competitors' pricing, but per the website, the on-road price for the car in Delhi is around Rs 61 lakh. Can anyone please tell me if that is good pricing, and if there are still options in the Indian market that are better than Model Y?

It was quite interesting seeing the massive MIFA 9 electric luxury MPV at @MGMotorIn pavillion at the #AutoExpo2023. It is nearly 6m long, has a 90kWh battery, a claimed range of 520km and extremely plush looking interiors. However, it'll probably not be launched in India.
