You can’t use the blessings God has given you, as an excuse to not fulfil the assignment God hand picked for you! 🗣️ That means IF you know you have an assignment outside of being a homemaker; your spouse & your children are NOT an excuse to not get it done. Read that again.

Everything starts in the mind, which translates to our words, which then establishes reality. That’s why the Bible says that transformation comes by the renewing of the mind. If you want to see REAL transformation in your life, start there & watch everything else follow.

I don’t know if it’s bcos I’m turning 30 this year & I’ve just had a baby but I feel like Nissy 2.0 is here & I LOVE IT for me! A bolder, stronger, more unbothered version of me is here hence even coming back on this crazy app. I don’t care anymore & again I LOVE it for me! 🤣😌

@linmeitalks The UK could never 😩 … The food is SO good, access to fresh fruit & veg is of course a huge plus & for those of us maybe coming from the west earning even what would be considered “lower income” goes a VERY long way in SE Asia so quality of life is so much better!

@linmeitalks Congo is the final desired destination but we need to get things in order first. However, we just came back from Bali, Indonesia & we’re really contemplating it! The weather is gorgeous, the people are wonderful (my husband lost his phone on the BEACH & someone handed it in)

The older I get the more & more I realise just how important SOLID family units are. It’s the genesis of everything. It makes so much sense why the devil hates it’s so much.

where we can post on IG to say we were there. And no there’s nothing wrong with a cute brunch event - in fact I run one each year - but even I’m realising that it means NOTHING if the very kids we go back to after the brunch are not even safe. 4/4

Let’s bring back the days when if your child was outside & acted up an elder could check them & bring them back to you for added correction. Nowadays we’re so individualistic & so easily offended that the only sense of “community” we now have is when it’s a cute brunch event 3/4

Just a thought: The first step of a societies downfall is giving too much power to any government (or anything attached to it i.e. the education system, health care system etc.) & letting them do the job that WE as families & communities should be doing. 1/4

Creating boundaries, getting out of your comfort zone, cutting out nasty habits, letting go of all the things that once gave you a false sense of happiness and/ or security…. SURRENDER. All can be scary & HARD but the epitome of self love. 2/2

People often associate “self love” w/ doing things that make their life “easier” or makes them “happier”. But I honestly believe that you know someone loves themselves when they’re willing to do the thing that may make their life harder or the very thing that hurts the most. 1/2

You’re not starting from scratch you’re starting from experience. I know this time of year we like to scream “new year new me”, but don’t run away from utilising all the “old” lessons, wisdom + knowledge you gained from 2024. God doesn’t waste a thing so neither should you.

Maturity is understanding that being “real” or “honest” doesn’t require you or your delivery to be nasty. That’s just an excuse for poor character & an unwillingness to work on it. Remember God doesn’t like ugly.
