At the International Dairy Federation (@FIL_IDF) World Dairy Summit 2025 held in Santiago, Chile, Indian innovations received global recognition at the prestigious IDF Dairy Innovation Awards. India’s NITARA (@NitaraIndia) and Bharat Sanjeevani (@mybfil) were honoured for their impactful contributions to sustainable dairying. Dr. @ShahMeenesh, Chairman, NDDB & Board Member, IDF, along with Dr C P Devanand, MD, @NDDBDairyServ and Shri Jaidev Biswas, MD, Jharkhand Milk Federation (@JMF_Medha), received the awards on behalf of the winners. NITARA, the flagship product of GormalOne, won in the Category Sustainable Farming Practices under Innovation in Socio-economic Sustainability in Farming. It is an AI-enabled mobile platform empowering smallholder farmers with dairy management tools, virtual advisory services, and offline access, driving digital transformation in the dairy sector. Bharat Sanjeevani, implemented in collaboration with Jharkhand Milk Federation (@JMF_Medha), received the award in the Category Sustainable Farming Practices under Innovation in Animal Care in Farming. The tech-enabled veterinary model uses AI diagnostics and mobile tools to enhance livestock health and productivity among smallholder farmers. These recognitions highlight India’s growing leadership in leveraging innovation and technology for sustainable and inclusive dairy development.
