Cameras have been down for only a week because we're relocating. Livestream is back from the new farm in less than 7 days. I read everything about NitroEggs, and I have to say I'm genuinely impressed by the transparency and simplicity of the concept. I'm currently studying Animal Science at university, and my dream is to build a similar agricultural business when I have enough capital. We've been quiet lately, here's why. We're running a controlled feeding trial at the farm groups of 50 hens each, in separate enclosed areas, on different feeds. Same care, same conditions, only the feed changes. We're comparing egg quality across the groups: shell, yolk, taste. The aim is simple, produce the best egg we can, which strengthens the position of the farm and our holders. That's where our time is going right now. Less posting, more work. We'll share the results with photos, once the trial wraps up. 🥚

Quiet lately because we've been buried in farm work 🐔 100 more hens sold today, expecting them in the coming days. Also relocating the stream setup, one hen keeps hopping in to peck the keyboard 😅. Stable stream back in a few days.

We've been collecting hen manure all along starting July 1st, we begin the active composting process (controlled heat + turning) to turn it into briquettes for local flower shops & nurseries. Expected to reach our first flower shops by late August / early September. 1 briquette + 5L water = ready-to-use organic liquid fertilizer.
