@JackTheFoxOtter @SlusheeWolf2_0 True true. I still use both as much as eachother. Granted I still have waaay more hours on Reso, but that's mostly because I started that much later.

@NitroHamlin @SlusheeWolf2_0 I mean that's the other thing, I don't think anyone should be expecting others to leave VRC for Resonite, or the other way around. There's not really a reason why you can't just play both. Lots of people do that. There pretty cool experiences on both platforms.

I can do all that on Resonite with pretty much anything I want to for free
I can even import a 3D model (rigged or not), add some components to it, and make it do crazier stuff... ALL IN THE GAME WITHOUT TOUCHING UNITY

@JackTheFoxOtter @SlusheeWolf2_0 It is unfortunate, but it is something I come across often when the topic of VRC comes up. It shouldn't be compared as if they're the "same thing but my one is better!". I personally find they serve two different purposes with the occasional overlap.

@NitroHamlin @SlusheeWolf2_0 I'm sad people think of Resonite's community as elitist, in reality it's the opposite. But I also don't like how some community members talk about VRChat. VRC is cool too! And has a super creative community. I wish people would focus more on the similarities than the differences.

@JackTheFoxOtter @SlusheeWolf2_0 Exactly. The best way to play social VR is with friends, which answers the question of why people don't leave VRC for Resonite. It's because they already have friends there.
Granted, I did have friends that introduced me to other groups in VRC, which is why I swap between them.

@NitroHamlin @SlusheeWolf2_0 From my experience the best thing you can do is just grab a few friends and explore a platform together. The few good experiences I had in VRC were when a bunch of friends and myself went there together to explore or attend an event. Going in on your own can be challenging.

@SlusheeWolf2_0 And you also forget that Resonite is working on a Unity plugin that can actively edit in Resonite Because it's more convenient to not learn another game engine when you're already used to one of them.

@SlusheeWolf2_0 Because you're missing a glaring issue with Resonite and it's popularity. It's not a good social platform. The only way can get into it is if you already have friends in there (which is something I've experienced and observed). I have a shameful amount of hours to back it up too.

@SlusheeWolf2_0 Day 1 with a mentor and getting your avatar set up is fine and all, but logging on day 2 will have you trying to look around for things to do or socialize in the very few social worlds around. And most of the time they'll be in their own clique or buried in an inspector.

@libraballs You can bait shield bashes for openings if you have a weapon that isn't deflected, normally two handing works. You can get hits in that way.
Just be wary of phase 2 with the tail catches. They seem random, but over time you tend to expect them after certain attacks.
