@OhNoItsAlexx Completely true. Let's start with the ecosystem that makes you a fanboy, Steam. Demand from them to sell you the full game without any need of any type of online validation/verification. Demand from them a better service like GOG.

An online check should not be required. Do not pass this off as a "nothing burger" when you are being treated like a criminal in order to use a product you spent your money on

Sony has provided a statement to GameSpot regarding the PSN license checks: "Players can continue to access and play their purchased games as usual. A one-time online check is required to confirm the game's license, after which no further check-ins are required." gamespot.com/articles/plays…

@OhNoItsAlexx The point is that is not always online. Sony give u a license that expires in 30 days, after 14 days (the refund period of a game) the license becomes permanent without the need to log in never again.

Calling always online DRM for any period of time with a product you legally purchased a "nothing burger" is exactly why corporations get away with this

DRM was blown out on PS5. It's just for 30 days, as people were refunding games and staying offline, and playing the game still. After the return window is closed, a permanent licence is issued. Was a nothing burger.

Every controller that is not Xinput requires an overlay/driver to function correctly on PC GamePass/Xbox PC. This has been a thing since the 360/Ps3.
Windows reads your controller as Direct Input. This is also why Steams Overlay is far better since you can customize the controls
