@softbaked__ @Rory_Talks_Ball Money ruins football but the game we know wouldn't exist like it does without money so it's a necessary evil I think at all levels, the refs are poor but they are still humans so they will make mistakes. But to me the players should have more integrity however they're jus actors

@Nj04K @Rory_Talks_Ball Yeah that’s shocking mate. Think PSR needs to find a way to divert funds down the football pyramid. The investment/ money in the prem has almost ruined the football because teams are desperate to stay up so the games have become turgid.

The standard of reffing across country has been getting worse, and VAR isn't helping but the prem is the most boring to watch now by far

@Nj04K @Rory_Talks_Ball Good to hear your perspective on it as a neutral. Unfortunately it doesn’t really surprise me at all, for such a highly respected league the quality of the reffing is poor. Especially where the games have become so much closer - one wrong call can make the difference.

@Nj04K @Rory_Talks_Ball Agreed - which is why there’s no point relying on the refs to get it right in my opinion, unless you’re certain it’s going to get given (and even then you can’t really be). Better off trying your luck for a goal than expecting them to give anything.

They seen VAR and refs give fouls for the slightest of contact so they keep pushing it, granted confidence will play into it because they see it as easier to get a foul
