Those of us who opposed the Iraq, Afghan and Libyan wars were also smeared as stooges of Saddam, the Taliban and Gaddafi. Yet who was vindicated - catastrophically so? Does Andrew Neil think Iranians like this are siding with Iran's regime? If yes, then he should say so.

Prominent Scottish politicians supporting separation from the UK, including the SNP, are siding with a mediaeval theocratic dictatorship against a vibrant democracy fighting for its very existence. Who wudda thunk it? Perhaps it should tackle the appalling decline in Scottish school standards over which it has presided before it starts dabbling in geopolitics, where it is lamentably out of its depth.

The evidence here is overwhelming, incontrovertible and undeniable. The BBC systematically treats Palestinian life as having little meaning. Its coverage is rigged in favour of pro-Israel narratives. This is a public service broadcaster that you pay for.
