In one year and eight months my account (in my previous pinned tweet) has perceived a noticeable change, almost doubled a few stats, considerably increased others, barely halved my rank and pretty close to getting into 3 digits score ranking, cool stuff :D

@lystia244 The thing with notelock is that it is a mechanic that was not designed for something like streams , basically with a pretty different game in mind. On iNiS maps with some luck you'll have 3 or 4 notes simultaneously, but on maps with streams, notelock stops making any sense.

playing lazer for a while made me realise that notelock is absolutely a necessary evil

it looks like this was done for performance optimizations on the database but its still so dogshit like surely there must be some way to still display it? it really is a HORRIBLE change (if you don't see it, instead of showing total #1s it just says 100+ now)

@Maklovitz_osu Nobody influenced the devs for the # 1s to come back, it was simply a paliative fix to add it back later...

Well, it's fixed now. Thanks to everyone who cares about the #1s and influenced the osu! dev world. Based on the last quoted sentence, it seems that unfortunatelly devs are not always on the same page. It would be nice to have more leaderboard farming players on osu! github

@piiqt_ Kinda the same as std, the A requirements is changed to a plain 90%> accuracy instead of a 90%> of GREATS.

does anyone know if its easier to get taiko A ranks on lazer compared to stable like how standard is or no

osu! Ranked has to be one of the best features the dev team has implemented. It is genuinely so fun to go against people in lobbies and just enjoy the game in a different way. Ofc it isn’t perfect atm there are some tweaks to be made, but for now this is a great start!

@Loupiobtw I have been able to defeat players near 4 digits (17k, I am 27k) because of this, it's awesome xD

@Nnm_Sebby its such a shame to lose maps against nearly 6 digits, I get "whats happening" IM JUST ASS leave me alone

DUDE THE MORE I LOSE THE HARDER IT GETS NOW I HAVE TO PLAY 5* MAPS THAT I USUALLY DT FARM

@Loupiobtw Try going over your gameplay in lower difficulties, ranked play definitely aims at polishing a more ample quantity of skillsets (similar to tournaments)

@foworum_ It's curious since it's kinda the opposite to what happens with notelock on flowaim, while it makes those streams easier, it makes stacked sliders more complicated so it's some sort of balance but I get your point, having muscle memory wiped out feels bad.

update the game doesnt lag like that when i play without my pen nibs but it still crashes lol . crashed like 3 seconds into my first ranked play match

@foworum_ That's why I said either that or simply not being used to it but trust me, you get used to the slider leniency thing, it's pretty rewarding to be able to hit the stacked sliders on time.

@Nnm_Sebby no it is a real thing not just a mere skill issue lol. the game will not allow doubletapping sliders when theyre stacked with another object

На заметку японцам. Я предложил бразильцам купить игру или скачать с торрентов бесплатно. Большинство реплаев - предпочитают купить. Хорошая игра + локализация с озвучкой + адекватная цена + легко купить. Пиратство - результат плохого сервиса, а не менталитета.
