If someone in the US still hasn’t gotten it, this is our 9/11. There was no justification for this terrible attack which ended with 350 Israelis dead, many of them civilians and around 100 who were kidnapped, including women and children. Hamas was and is a terrorist organization

I won’t share them, but there are horrifying videos circulating online. One video from Gaza shows the lifeless body of an Israeli soldier being trampled by an angry crowd shouting “God is Great.” Another shows a bloodied woman being pushed into a jeep. Another shows terrorists gunning down elderly Israelis. These are people’s mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, their children and grandparents. Today will go down in infamy and history will remember if you stood with or against terrorism.

יש סרטון של חטופה שכל אישה שראתה אותו יוצאת בטראומה. כל אישה יודעת מה זה אומר. ואף אחת לא מסוגלת להגיד בפה מלא מה קרה לאותה חטופה כי אם נגיד זה יהפוך לאמיתי. כל מה שעבר לי בראש כשראיתי את זה שהייתי מעדיפה שירצחו אותי.

Israel withdrew from the Gaza Strip in 2005. It evacuated every Israeli settlement and repositioned to the international line. Hamas took the strip by force, built a sharia quasi-state, and has now launched a surprise attack aimed at murdering and taking as many Israeli civilians hostage as possible. The main supporter of this action is Iran. While the Middle East is complex and there's always more to learn, these are key facts. These actions are war crimes and crimes against humanity, rooted in radical Islamic fundamentalism. Its enemies are not only Israelis but every person who believes in liberty, equality, and justice.
