Although I do gotta address the elephant with the lower turnout, as it coincides with a lot of stuff I've heard that SMG4's fanbase was in the age group where they kind of just immediately moved onto the next thing that grabbed their attention. Welp, should have started earlier

Oh and I'm not dissing the new channels that do this kind of content, but it's obvious that Youtube has evolved in a way where people are extra careful about what they put out, and it can be difficult to create that kind of cozy vibe when everything's trying to be perfect

SMG4 EPISODE HIGHLIGHT: Mario's Spageti Delivary (2014) It's my favourite smg4 video. There's some dated/of-its-time jokes in there, but overall it's some of the best rapid-paced comedy in this channel's life. The simplicity of it all always stuck with me. I'll miss this guy

Know what, scratch that. It's worked in episodes like Uncanny and Car Door. Don't paste it straight into a 2015 video, but if it's built up well, and it enhances the climax instead of showing off, it would work. I like Shadow's stuff I just don't think he was used well often

Admittedly, part of the charm of the climax is how it's created from such limited resources. Can't say it would hit the same as a fully-animated GMOD scene, but that's just me. Earth, Wind and Fire make great songs, crazy, I know.

SMG4 EPISODE HIGHLIGHT: Love For Luigi (2015) BOY is this episode a fucking delight. The scenes throughout are all your standard stuff as Luigi tries to stay calm on his date, but it builds up to one of the most joyful climaxes in an SMG4 video. I can't recommend it enough.
