Kentucky waited a long time to try and get Stokes…passed on giving money on some targets in order to grab him It didn’t work out and he went way it looked like he would for some time. Kentucky needs to find a replacement that is very talented and the options aren’t plentiful

BREAKING: University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto announces via press release Mitch Barnhart will be backing out of his proposed role following the end of his time as AD. “Mitch has informed me that he will retire from his position of Athletics Director on June 30 and step away from the proposed ongoing role leading the Sports Workforce Initiative at the university.” Statements from Capilouto and Barnhart are below.
