If anyone knows anything about not telling the truth, it's definitely you, Wes. Let's go down the list.... Promised no tax hikes. Then passed the largest tax hike in state history. Listed awards that didn’t exist and honors he hadn’t earned. Claimed a Bronze Star, then only received one decades later. Sells himself as “from Baltimore.” Born in Takoma Park. Raised in the Bronx. Didn’t return until college. Now, even family stories don’t add up. It’s not spin. It’s gaslighting and lies.

Of course – now that the hard work of containing this spill is nearly finished – the President wants to get involved. But if he wants to direct any @FEMA funding Maryland’s way, we welcome support for those in Western Maryland who are still dealing with the effects of the flooding from this past summer.

TOO BUSY RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT TO WORRY ABOUT THE SHORE: Eastern Shore watermen have been out of work since November. Senator @JohnnyMautz asked @GovWesMoore for disaster relief help. The response? “We’re working on it.” No phone call back. The Shore isn’t a photo op for your presidential tour. Real people are struggling.

YOU DON’T SAY?! @Axios reports Democrats in @GovWesMoore’s own party call him INEXPERIENCED and ARROGANT. His own party. This is the governor who gaslights about deficits and pushes partisan redistricting for his ambitions in ’28. Arrogant? That tracks.

In honor of Presidents’ Day, here’s someone who will NEVER be one. @GovWesMoore torched a $5.5B surplus, rammed through the largest tax and fee hike in state history, and left Maryland staring at massive deficits. Marylanders paying more. Getting less. Hard pass.

In 3 years, we’ve attracted more than $10 billion in private investment to our state. We’ve secured new partnerships with Microsoft to build our $1 billion Capital of Quantum Initiative. South Korea’s largest biotech company is building its first American manufacturing facility in the U.S. here. AstraZeneca has made the single largest private capital investment in our state’s history. And National Harbor will become the third location in the world for a new Sphere performance venue, which will create and generate more than $1 billion in economic activity every year when it’s completed.

Wes Moore’s comms director is spending his Tuesday night wondering if Sibarium is my real last name. The name is real, but Wes Moore’s Oxford thesis may not be. We can’t know for sure, since his office has refused produce a copy of the thesis.

ALL ABOUT ’28: @GovWesMoore’s “State of the State” was a presidential audition, not a plan for Maryland. He STILL hasn’t even filed for reelection. Did he forget he has to run for governor before he runs for president? Maryland isn’t your stepping stone.

FACT: @GovWesMoore says other states should “lose sleep” over how Maryland is moving. State projections show YEARS of structural deficits ahead. Billions in red ink. Higher spending. Higher taxes. That’s not momentum. That’s decline.

FACT: @GovWesMoore bragging about submitting a “balanced budget” isn’t an accomplishment. Every governor has been CONSTITUTIONALLY REQUIRED to do that since the 1974 referendum. It’s the law, not leadership.

FACT: @GovWesMoore says he’s fighting for families. Here’s the reality. He already passed the largest tax and fee hike in Maryland history. Maryland families are still paying the price.
