Jim Baxter ran the show and Jim Kerray hit a match-winning double as Raith Rovers earned a superb 3-2 victory at Rangers OTD in 1959. Raith brilliantly rallied from two down for a fifth straight win, Baxter shining in a display which led to Rangers signing him months later.

Raith Rovers won 1-0 at Queen of the South thanks to a Gordon Wallace strike OTD in 1970. Crowd 1532. OTD in 1964, John Park’s first-half double and a Pat Gardner effort clinched a 3-2 Rovers success at Berwick Rangers. Crowd 1080.

Raith Rovers blew a 2-0 lead at Queen’s Park in a 2-2 draw OTD in 1982. Colin More, heading in Bobby Robinson’s corner on 44 minutes, and Ian Ballantyne (47) notched, with Grant and a Tom Houston OG levelling it. Atkins brilliantly denied Ballantyne a last-gasp winner. Crowd 753
