You can still #RegisterToVote in the 2019 Election if you don't know your National Insurance number. On the NI Number page, say you can't find it, put your email address. Your council should email you asking for ID - phone photo of your passport is enough. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politi…

@ghxstbxys I would email their electoral services dept explaining you've registered without NI number, say your name, address, date of birth and attach a photo of your passport or driving licence. Phone them if you can't find the email, or if after a couple of days they haven't replied.

@NoNINumber i tried to register again differently this time and it said the local council of my borough will be contacted and i’ve not heard back yet (the first time i’d already heard back and got a no) so fingers crossed theyll let me vote

i tried to register and all i got was a letter in the post telling me that my NI number doesn't exist so i cant vote so my NI works in that you can withhold money from me* but i cant use it to vote... k *(taxes that were taken automatically even though im not eligible)

I’ve tried my hardest in this campaign, hope more people are registered as a result. You have until Dec 4th to be verified by council. If anyone has registered w/o NI number and gets trouble from council, please tell me here with a tweet or DM, or email noninumberneeded@gmail.com
