Please don’t confuse actual Arabs in the Quran with current Gulf Arabs that are useless, some of the dumbest people in the world and wouldn’t be anything without oil “The tribes of the Najd and Hejaz regions (modern Saudi Arabia) were actually considered somewhat backwards and tribal compared to the sophisticated urban civilizations in Iraq, Syria, and Egypt. The great scholars, scientists, poets, and administrators of the Islamic golden age were predominantly Persian, Syrian, Egyptian, or Levantine, not from the Gulf.” “The Gulf states only became relevant on the world stage in the 20th century purely because of oil. Without oil, Saudi Arabia and the UAE would likely still be relatively obscure desert territories. The wealth and influence they have today has nothing to do with historical empire building and everything to do with what happened to be sitting under their sand.“
