This will be unpopular to some, but I want Mahmood to succeed. I don't give a toss about who kicks out the illegals, I just want them gone. And for now, there is one group of people who can deliver that. The Labour Government. Whether we like or not, that's the reality. So if Mahmood introduces robust reform that results in far more illegals getting sent home, then I will support it. We can sit and moan that they're not going far enough, and I will do exactly that, but we must also appreciate the progress being made here. The entire debate has shifted, and policy is following. That matters. Let's see what happens, and how quickly it happens, but this is a good day. I don't care about petty party politics. Fighting for votes. I want what's best for Britain. That is all. Labour know they have to reduce illegal immigration and stop the boats. There is no choice. Our job is to keep the pressure on, to make them go FAR faster and FAR further. Keep pushing. We are winning.
