@nberlat At least they can rest in the knowledge they stuck it to Harris, when Trump rounds them up for protesting and throws them in jail then gives Netanyahu the means and backing to commit full scale genocide in both Gaza and the West Bank, though.

As someone whose mental health is, at best, fragile at the moment, it's time I simply removed one source of stress from my life at a time when every day is feeling like extended misery and anxiety.

Social media does create a time dilation effect - You get obsessed with things that happen moment by moment and you stay dwelling on them so that minutes feel like hours, hours feel like days, etc... It's fine if your mental health is robust - but it does clearly warp priorities

The answer to "Why aren't Republicans concerned that he's been convicted of 34 felonies" is that they--not unreasonably--believe this case was a dubious distortion of the law which would never have been brought if Trump had not been a Republican president loathed by progressives
