This is a calm reminder that goals work when they are clear small and written down Focus on daily actions not pressure Progress comes from consistency patience and restarting when needed This makes long term growth feel possible and human

Have you written your 2026 goals yet? I take that time after Christmas when I can focus… Pointers for those who don’t know where to start: Think of a 12-calendar-year goal plan like planning a road trip that lasts one year. You don’t just say “I want to go somewhere.” You decide where you’re going, how you’ll get there, and what you’ll do each step of the way. Step 1: Decide What You Want to Change or Achieve Start simple. Ask: • What do I want my life to look like 12 months from now? • What do I want more of? Less of? Good starter areas: • Career or education • Money • Health • Family or relationships • Personal growth 👉 Rule: Pick 1–3 goals total. Too many goals overwhelm beginners. Step 2: Make Each Goal Clear (No Vague Goals) Bad goal: ❌ “I want to be better with money.” Good goal: ✅ “I want to save $5,000 by the end of this year.” A clear goal answers: • What exactly do I want? • How much or how often? • By when? If you can’t measure it, you can’t track it. Step 3: Break the Year Into Smaller Pieces A year can feel intimidating, so we break it down: • 12 months • 4 quarters • 52 weeks Example: • Year goal: Save $5,000 • Monthly goal: About $417 per month • Weekly goal: About $100 per week 👉 This makes the goal feel doable, not scary. Step 4: Focus on Actions, Not Just the Outcome Goals fail when people only focus on the end result. Instead, focus on what you will DO regularly. Example: • Outcome: Save $5,000 • Actions: • Automatically move $100 to savings every week • Reduce eating out to once per week • Track spending every Sunday 👉 You control actions. Results follow actions. Step 5: Write It Down and Put It Somewhere Visible Goals that stay in your head usually disappear. Write down: • Your goal • Why it matters • Your weekly or monthly action Put it: • On your phone notes • On a calendar • On a wall or planner Seeing it regularly keeps it real. Step 6: Check Progress Monthly (Not Daily) You don’t need to stress every day. Once a month, ask: • What worked? • What didn’t? • What needs adjusting? 👉 Adjusting is not failure, it’s learning. Step 7: Expect Setbacks (They Are Normal) Everyone slips. Everyone misses weeks. The rule: Don’t quit. Just restart. Missing one week doesn’t ruin a year. Hope this helps. 🫶

If you want something bad enough you have to learn what it takes to accomplish it and go for whatever it is you are trying to learn to make it better for you. Never give up and practice makes perfect. We all fail first before we learn to achieve are goals or whatever we are after. Believe in God and yourself and things will get better as you go through your journey. It's amazing what 365 days can do for you when you want to win. F.Y.I you never know who's watching you or who may help you, stay humble, patient and never give up and let God help you along the way. Happy Tuesday Fam. 💜
