I hope I never feel like this day is a normal day. That would mean I have forgot about you Chris. I love and miss you with all my heart and soul.

I know grieving takes time. I thought it would start to ease in me. I keep asking myself what I could of done differently to help him. These days I am like the duck on water. Outside I look calm but underneath I am fighting like hell to keep going everyday.

Today is the day I dred in my life. I know this day is coming and I can't change it. 2 years ago this day left my heart and soul with a void that will never be filled.

Kort decided Papa needed to come to practices until he feels comfortable. Now Tues & Thurs I go to Norfolk for practice. Feels pretty good to be in a wrestling room again for a little while. Anyone have size 12 wrestling shoes I may use? Threw my old ones away when I retired.

Granson Kort decided to go out for wrestling again in Norfolk. I told him I knew the head HS coach there. Said I would talk to him.

The women in my house shed an unbelievable amount of hair. Geez.

Memorial Day is a day to remember those who gave all for our country. God bless them and their families. This post is not to take away from this sacrifice. Please also remember those who made it home and lost their battle.

Now that it is warming up a Public service announcement from a jh teacher: full body deodorant does not replace a shower.

Well, that should put to and end the "Alabama should be in the playoff talk"!

Thank you to all who served. We owe a great deal to veterans. Thank you all my relatives, friends, students, & athletes who have served. Thank you to my son, Chris in heaven. Miss you dearly everyday. Please listen & help those veterans with PTSD. We lose 22 a day with this.
