WHA is certainly far from beyond critique, but I don't think this particular critique is valid. most of the central characters are girls; certainly the main 4 are far more important than Olruggio and especially Beldaruit. it's not the manga's fault that fandomites love men.

@sweetanthys Its a wonderful interpretation. I like it, even tho i think it doesn’t fully fit with the narrative of the show, as Madoka’s love for life is a huge part of why the ending is meant to be hopeful. However it does fit with the underlying theme of sacrifice and devaluing of self.

There’s an interpretation of Madoka I haven’t seen discussed before. To me, Madoka and Homura’s relationship reminds me of two suicidal friends. The end of the series feels like a metaphor for dealing with a loved one passing away by suicide. While you yourself are suicidal.

@chikodesalonika About Dialectic and Historic Materialism was the first Marxist text i read in it’s entirety, and its so so easy to understand. He explains very clearly and doesn’t have the confusing language a lot of marxist texts have. Fundametals of Leninism is a particularly good one

@chikodesalonika Idk what’s your opinion on it, but genuinely, Stalin’s works are great for this. His theoretic work was mostly just the synthesis of Marx’s and Lenin’s theory into cohesive and symplified materials that could easily be taught to the masses. +
