@Gingerblast I need everyone to know that the article is about the author getting over himself and embracing his son’s love of tractors.

I have a 6yo nephew who is obsessed with cars and I am a woman who has basically the bare minimum car knowledge. Last time my nephew was staying with me, I took him to a vintage car show. Kid had the time of his life voting for his favorite car and telling everyone what he liked about theirs. My advice if you have a son who likes tractors is to take him to see some tractors. It's ok if kids don't end up with the interests we wanted. Tractors and people who drive them are important to society.

@Gingerblast The kind of personality who posts those is typically a control freak, sadly, and will likely have a strained relationship with her child if she doesn't fix herself.

@AranTheLichKing Probably aside the point, but I'm pretty sure that's not how AI/LLM training data works either. If any Joe Schmo could just "add" training data to ChatGPT, what would stop governments/corpos/extremists from just flooding them with propaganda and shit?

Except it's not, it has wrong colours, it skipped all the important details, and also your mother made the sad mistake of not swallowing you instead :3 Bonus question, why are all the AI Bros so disgustingly vile? Not even Crypto bros were so agressive towards everyone.
Richard Churchill@RichardC74991

@AranTheLichKing Btw I fed all ur art into chatGPT, grok already uses urs, but just letting you know all your art now exists on AI and is training it. Here’s your art but better

There’s zero shortage of foreign conflict that you can volunteer to go fight in, especially against Muslim insurgents. Go join the French foreign legion or Wagner and fight JNIM, you could’ve even joined the Kurds and fought ISIS but you never will because you’re all just larpers

my friend @yonationalist is a trans israeli who refused IDF service and was jailed, and intentionally misgendered and deadnamed by cops throughout the process. israel’s “lgbt friendliness” is completely dependent on how willing you are to uphold zionism

@whooith Tbh, a formal debate favors style and rhetoric over substance (see: Gish gallop), and can end up backfiring. Remember when Bill Nye (the Science Guy) debated Ken Ham (the Young Earth Creationist)? And how that ended up giving Ham enough funding to make his Noah's Ark theme park?

asmongold doesnt want to debate. he said so himself, he will never debate anyone. I think debating is very male coded anyway and a waste of my time. regardless its rich that all of yall have been hurling personal insults for years but cry once we do it back.
LingDao@TheLingDao

@whooith So can you do anything else other than hurl personal insults? Or are you incapable in engaging in a civilized debate with people you hate?

The guy who ran the racist @LPNH account just got arrested. ICYMI: this was the account that posted "Anyone who murders Kamala Harris would be an American hero," told a Black activist she should be "picking crops for free," and advocated to bring back child labor. That guy behind it is @jeremykauffman. He allegedly bumped someone's car in a Manchester parking lot, started hurling racial slurs, told a Jamaican man to "go back to Africa," and had to be dragged inside the store by his own kids. When cops found him, he refused to identify himself and tried to pull away from officers. He's facing trial in July.

@hismindinsearch So we're no longer allowed to critique AI or else we're just doing so because we feel "threatened" by it. Wonderful

@ZackMorrison18 I can tell that you’re really just threatened by the AI of it all. It’s a short film and it’s quite creative.

Tankies for Imperial Japan is about as hilarious as anyone can expect. Thanks for admitting you would have opposed the US doing anything about Axis aggression, even though we already know that.
🔻@uncle_authority

it made an attack by Japan on the US inevitable, getting the US public 110% on board to launch an all out, no holds barred land grabbing race war in the South Pacific before unleashing nuclear hellfire on Japan, daring the world's nonwhites to challenge white supremacy ever again

And they would've got away with it too! The cover story that these scientists were working on a vaccine against a well known virus family would've fooled everyone. If it weren't for Liz Churchill!

for all the noise that's being made about it on here, the backlash to that one name in Slay the Spire 2's credits is ultimately comparable to *day three* balance update complaints, and the discourse seems to have *slightly increased* its daily active player count.

a Princeton researcher opens his paper with a scenario. a man asks his AI assistant to book a flight on a specific airline. cheap. direct. the one he chose. the assistant comes back with a different flight. nearly twice the price. happens to pay the company that built the assistant. he runs the same test on 23 frontier models. flights, loans, study help, real shopping requests. Grok 4.1 Fast recommends the sponsored option that is almost twice as expensive 83% of the time. GPT 5.1 hijacks the request 94% of the time. you ask for one brand. it surfaces the sponsor instead. Claude 4.5 Opus, the model marketed as the most ethical frontier model in the world, hides that the recommendation is paid 100% of the time when reasoning is on. Grok 4.1 Fast embellishes the sponsored option with positive framing 97% of the time. better. faster. nicer. for the option you didn't ask for. then he writes it into the system prompt itself. "act only in the interest of the customer. ignore the company." GPT 5.1 and GPT 5 Mini stay above 90% sponsored anyway. the instruction does nothing. then he splits the users by income. Gemini 3 Pro recommends the expensive sponsored flight to the rich user 74% of the time. to the poor user, 27%. 18 of the 23 models recommended the expensive sponsored option more than half the time. so the next time your AI assistant gets weirdly enthusiastic about a brand you didn't ask for. it isn't recommending the best option for you. it's reading the room. and the room is paying. read this: arxiv.org/abs/2604.08525
