@aragon_rhys Artists should be judged based on good music and what they create no matter this size. The industry is currently set up to take an artist from 10 to 100. What about 1 to 10?

See that's why you don't know art, not that I agree with lucky, trending or well-connected, but artists should be discovered because of their art, your saying an artist has to be great to be discovered, and that's BS, I'm not the worst musician in the world, but I wouldn't be where I am without the help I've had, Not everybody is snoop dog, but there are plenty of new and aspiring artists, you can't just judge on greatness, that's not right.

The policy applies to detectable samples. If you’re manipulating them enough when they’re considered new and can’t be detected by audio fingerprinting software or recognized by a human ear, the policy won’t be applied. What we’re trying to avoid is people using “free for profit” beats from YT, or full vocals from stem without transforming them.

@UnchainedDistro Still quite disappointing, most of my current album was made with bandlab and good setup of my own mixing, now I just bought FL Studio Mobile today to finish it, and future music because I don't want my tracks to be on limited release because of this, tho now "AaroN" may be, 🤔

Maybe, but not too thrilled with your new policy stating that DAW's like bandlab are prohibited from being upload to places like Facebook or Tiktok, User Generated Content sites, that's unfair and not really fighting AI like you claim, you are fighting sample artists atp, 😬💔

@cheriehu42 @water_and_music Easy. The owners of the music the models were trained on. @Spotify has a pro rata model. There's no reason that AI platforms can't do the same.

“AI slop” is a great term but to be fair, most media and content published is slop. Most of it’s bad, a lot of it is mid, and only a select amount is great. This is true in all forms of media.
