Can’t say much until Wednesday but yes, I got to see #TheOdyssey last night at universal city walk. Have always had a love/hate relationship with Nolan. Loved the Batman films, memento, interstellar and LIKED Oppenheimer. Couldn’t stand inception, tenet or Dunkirk. So going into this I was fully expected to like it and not love it.. many people are going to be eating their words come next week. This was awesome, action packed and has one of the best scores I’ve heard in a long ass time. (I’ve found Ludwig to always be consistent) I have a couple minor gripes but it’s nowhere the disaster the internet is wanting it to be. Perfect example of actually seeing the movie before making your mind up about it. Will be the first Nolan film I’ve seen in theaters twice since the dark knight. I understand people won’t believe me but I have nothing to prove to anyone lol (more on Wednesday)
