I got my flu shot a little over a week ago, and feel’s like something is trying to grip me now. That cannot be happening.

@NomceboMasilel2 She will be strong, Mseleku will school her about ancestral ceremonies and how they require harmony when being done. It’s not like doing an ID. So yena no MaK if they fail to understand just because MaK has some few coins and they think they’ll survive they can suit themselves.

Mpilo deleted all the pictures she had of him on her IG. That alone says a lot about how she feels and how she sees him. #uthandonesthembu

@tiredfeminist_ There were over 600 people at my mom’s funeral. During the week there were people coming every day. We even had to slaughter. She was loved by the community and would not have any other way.

My grandmothers funeral? We had people travel from ALL provinces to Limpopo to support us and it was the most humbling experience ever. Knowing that people travelled far and wide despite costs and other inconveniences to help us grieve? No one could ever make me hate how the black community shows up to funerals. No one is driving to another province for di scones tse 4

You will soon understand why your mothers would pack blankets to travel in common transport to go support at a funeral. They would go not even knowing gore batlile go robala kae, all they knew is that they needed to show up for those people. To lona, thats inconvenience

@Beedagal Personally my grandparents were rich - showing up didn’t hurt their pockets, but what it meant was WE suffered. Leaving kids ka weekend to see to themselves. Times have changed, I’m unlikely to miss a school event to go show up ka weekend. Can try midweek but MY kids come 1st

Are we saying our grand/parents didn't have financial struggles and the economy was always good to them that's they were able to show up for their friends and family members?
