@abdvlahi Pretty sure someone like Joe Cole/Michael Owen mentioned this a few years ago Said he could tell when it's the Achilles because they instinctively look behind them because it feels someone's hit them with something. As woon as I saw the way he went down I knew it was that

Again Mbappe's "Fair enough" reactions when someone goes supernova against his team are the funniest thing.

@AATalksBall What are you guys talking about? As someone who watched goldbridge, it’s a turn off to see him sell his whole business to the very people he constantly slated and spoke against. Only to then reframe it as something good he’s done for his community

@st_louis_stan For whose benefit? The Pacer’s organization? The Yankees? To further drive a wedge between traditionally attractive men and women?

@kfjcomps_ @WillumA24 That's not due to fitness, he was still a great squad player for the dressing room. An injured Ali won't be having any affect from the physio room

@TheRedDebate Both sceneries you land on the pavement. One was falling from the 1st floor, the other was from the 100th floor. Same destination, very different feelings

Am I being hyperbolic or is the mood amongst the fanbase worse than at the end of the Hodgson era?

@DFakExGoalanke Looking at those names. All of them (other than Milner who was an alien) all had something to prove because of where they were signed from and would run into the ground to do so Buying made superstars for big money doesn't seem to generate the same result

@Babs_SP It's true but access to 'clipping' literally 10 seconds after a goal is scored on a Saturday 3pm wasn't there yet. Plus the algorithms that football twitter feast on weren't available. Social media definitely changed a lot since Covid

It’s called reality. Let’s imagine you’re about to play a premier league game and you’re told oh hi mate, you’re gonna start this game with 0-2 deficit Is that cool yeah? Now imagine it’s not the prem league actually and it’s a knock out game. In the quarter finals of the UCL. Thats the REALITY. Nothing good about it. No spin.

I am extremely confused why the TNT commentators and pundits are somehow spinning this result positively for Liverpool??? They were outclassed all game, 0 shots on target and got footballed to death

Oh I understand why a burnt thumb is better than 90% degree burns all over my body. However, no burnt thumb at all is better. And indeed having a burnt thumb in the first place isn’t something to celebrate. Nor is starting a game with -2 goals against Paris St Germaine. That’s the point.
