This week, I'm trying out an experiment with Udemy's free courses: - I created a free course in just one day. It's a 40-min course that explains the basic concepts of software testing. - At the end of it, I added coupons for my course and directed students to my paid content.

@justinmooretfam I like your content but your emails are way too frequent. x1 or x2 a day. I unsubscribed after 3 days.. I would like to see once a week email option from you.

This list can go on. I agree that some of them are unique positions, each with a unique title. But I believe I've come across over 30+ titles, which are extremely confusing and serve no useful purpose

So far, this is my very first free course. Up until now, I've been simply putting courses online, and people would discover them organically. I'm going to track the performance and share the data here later

30 hrs of efficient work > 9-to-5. When I tell my former colleagues that I work 5 hours a day, 6 days a week on my projects, many laugh, thinking I have an easy schedule. But when I ask, 'Out of a 40-hour week, how many hours do you work intensely?' Most admit it's not even 20!"

@dvassallo Good point. After seeing so many solopreneurs putting too much effort into visuals, it's nice to see someone with a "good enough" mentality. I try to follow the same principles.

@Nomad_Tester No plans; it seems to be working. Maybe will tighten up the top part a bit, but it seems to do the job still.

@marclou Why not Substack? It's free and has pretty good capabilities.

@omurdenden Hocam keşke dierenambulance i arasaydın. %99 evden kaçmıştır. Dierenambulance anında gelip alıyor köpeği. Çipi varsa sahibini buluyor, yoksa barınağa götürüp sahiplendirme sürecini başlatıyor.

@daniel_nguyenx Certainly, it's not suitable for people with ADHD, as there are so many new things to explore and potential distractions 😂 My productivity also close to 0

It's challenging to continuously generate content. It demands a considerable amount of mental energy to persevere daily. But messages from my students help me to create every day. This particular message says: "Thanks to you, today I started a new job as a software tester."

Anyone else realized that ChatGPT always adds the word "delve" into sentences? Whenever I see an article starting with "let's delve into..." I'm sure it's 100% ChatGPT generated. It's very annoying that each time I need to mention: don't use "delve" even for a small proofreading
