big fan of saying “thank you for pointing that out to me” because I in fact do not know everything and benefit highly from alternative perspectives

Your Emotional Healing Coach
Sometimes we meet ppl along the way who reach into us, awaken us & still aren’t ours to keep. And in all of that, we still have to choose the experience. Choose whether this experience nourishes or depletes you. And when necessary, move or detach, that’s what got better for me.

I disengage when it becomes clear that someone just wants to argue, but not listen.

@Solyricon any actually intelligent person wouldn't mind being questioned because it may help prove or disprove the voracity of their ideas/thoughts

People that act like they need to be the only one winning, successful, and having things irritate me. Seeing somebody else shine never stopped my blessings.

I’m not raising dogs, I’m raising humans capable of discerning. I welcome (respectfully) questions, pushback, and confrontation. Kids can teach us and shape our insight.

the meanest thing you do to yourself is pretend you don’t want the things you want. shrink the desire before anyone can see it. call it unrealistic before someone else does. and then walk around with this low grade starvation you can’t name because you buried the appetite so deep even you forgot where you put it. wanting things is dangerous. I know. it opens you up to disappointment and to looking foolish and to reaching for something that might not reach back. want it anyway. the alternative is a life of pretending you’re full.

Unfortunately, you can deny your childhood trauma all you want, but your romantic life will reveal the truth every time.

I realized when you're a lil too understanding, people become a lil too inconsiderate of you.
