My wardrobe has had a joyfully gender-affirming overhaul during the last two years and never getting to wear it out of the house sucks, so I am posting my “office” outfits every day for January on Instagram to counteract my gloom at WFH.

I'm thrilled to shout out about, A PONY TO OWN, the first book in my Paddock Grove Equestrian School series! Published in summer by @WalkerBooksUK Living out my childhood dream writing pony books! And a huge thanks to @NonPratt on her brilliant editing and joy we're having creating this series. "When scholarship student George gets a scruffy cob named Bear (based on one of my own naughty ponies, Boo!) instead of a polished show pony, fitting in to an elite Paddock Grove boarding school seems like quite the challenge. Can this mismatched pair prove they belong?

@superkits19 Yes! I love how it’s about the endurance of love through the frustrations of living a life together. And the time slip element coupled with impeccable flashbacks gives you an amazing perspective.

@NonPratt And I find it's rare to read a book about an established relationship, rather than just the first flurries of love (which obvs it also has because time slip stories give you the best of both worlds)

I felt like I’d forgotten how to read a book. (You don’t read submissions the way you do finished books and the way I read fic is like reading lots of short stories.) Anyway. I burned through this *so fast*. So grateful to this book for showing me my reading isn’t broken.

@NonPratt I can relate to this a lot. I got my reading mojo back over the summer thanks to Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. It felt good to fall head first into the joy of reading again.

@superkits19 Yes! Mine too - I don’t think I’ve ever read a more resonant portrayal of love and persistence. (When I read it the first time I then made my husband read it!)
