@INCKerala Your country invited Iran to participate In MILAN 2026, Iran honored this invitation and sent 200 sailors. It was returning from India with over 200 sailors on board when India tipped the United States that Iran was in their backyard
Betrayal of its highest order, shame on you!

War Reached India's Doorstep? | The sinking of an Iranian warship by a United States submarine just forty miles off the coast of Sri Lanka is a massive wake up call that we can no longer ignore. This act of maritime warfare has brought a senseless and open ended conflict right to India's doorstep. It is deeply concerning that the United States, a nation we consider a key strategic partner, would take such arbitrary action in our region without even informing us or taking us into confidence. This Iranian ship was a guest of the Indian Navy only last week for an international fleet review, yet it was targeted and sunk almost immediately after leaving our waters.
This escalation is not just a diplomatic failure, it is a direct threat to our national security and economy. India depends on imports for eighty percent of its energy, with much of it flowing through the Persian Gulf. By expanding this war to the high seas, the United States is risking a total disruption of global trade and energy supplies. We are already seeing freight and insurance rates climb, which will inevitably hurt every Indian citizen as the impact is felt in a matter of days.
Our foreign policy leaders have been far too careful with their words in public. True strategic autonomy requires us to have moral anchors and speak up when our interests are being sacrificed. We must officially convey our deep displeasure and concern to Washington. We cannot allow our neighborhood to be turned into a battlefield for a war that has no clear political or military end game.
It is time for India to take a stand and protect our own sovereignty and economic future. We can't let our friendship and national sovereignty be taken for granted for a war we have no stake in as a nation.
