This really can’t be said enough. This is the foundation for everything we do in the writers room. So much of streaming has lost this sense of causation.

Absolutely. The streamers are underrating the degree to which people just want to hang out with their favorite characters for 30 minutes or an hour. Let them do that 22 or 24 times a year instead of the "7-8 episodes ever two years if you're lucky" model and see what happens.
