Hear me out: -Carnell Tate: Commanders (1.07). Overqualified No. 2 with vertical ability that is a match made in heaven with Jayden Daniels. -Makai Lemon: Saints (1.08). Instant No. 2 pass-game option in offense that badly needs a WR to complement Olave. -Jordyn Tyson: Dolphins (1.11). Instant 150 target upside if the injury gods decide to chill the hell out. -KC Concepcion: Panthers (1.19): Homecoming and forms a nicey WR trio so Carolina can find out once and for all if Bryce is the future. -Denzel Boston: Bills (1.26): I don't see the Keon comps, either way, big, possession, contested-catch artist would be nice complement to DJM and Shakir. -Omar Cooper: 49ers (1.27): Adding a legit YAC threat between Evans and Pearsall? Hell yeah, brother. -Chris Bell: Eagles (2.54): Maybe wishful thinking he'll still be on the board, but fun AJB replacement once the knee is good. -Chris Brazzell: Rams (2.61): Vertical field-stretcher who isn't 5'3"

@_CLEology That’s definitely true but you got to feel extremely confident if you take Monroe Freeling at 6. Just because he might be the only pure LT in R1, doesn’t mean we can force it there, as you already know

Draft should be BPA if you’re in a position like the Browns, obviously. But addressing OL in FA (no matter what my normal philosophies are about OL in FA) does make it a lot easier to take that WR at 6

Coach getting acclimated!

I’m not going to bash the Browns for this coaching search unless Nate Scheelhaase says no. It seems like he’s been their top target all along; they’ve waited weeks until he was available for an in-person interview and weren’t concerned about checking off two candidates for the Rooney Rule. As long as the Browns get the coach they wanted, what does it matter that other guys pulled out of the race? If we as fans know they’ve zeroed in on a specific candidate, don’t you think the NFL agents probably know too?

ESPN's @billbarnwell believes the Browns could trade for the Jacksonville Jaguars' Pro Bowl wideout, Brian Thomas Jr. "There's no reason for the Jaguars to trade Thomas unless they can land something significant in return. The Browns could justify sending Jacksonville's first-round pick back to the Jaguars to acquire a much-needed wideout for their quarterback of the future. If the Jaguars do make Thomas available, there should be significant interest, even after an underwhelming 2025."

@Jeff_LJ_Lloyd This is why if the only 2 options are promote to HC or lose him I’d let him walk. The home/away splits just aren’t good and there is so much talent. Love Schwartz but I want him as DC with young offensive HC. If he walks, promote Tarver to DC.

They have some inconsistencies, but he is doing a good job although in the same breath, he has a defense that is tailored to what he likes to do
