Exactly, we need young people in politics. Age means nothing when those representing us, supposedly with ‘experience’, aren’t doing the best at it. We need young people to stand, who have young people’s interests at heart. How can decisions be made for young people without young people’s input. Our society is very different to what Gen X and Millennials grew up in. Politics aside, however, best of luck to you, Chase and thank you for representing us young people!

The demonisation of young people in politics is abhorrent. We should be embracing younger candidates and campaigners, it means a more representative system, and a maturing population. Best of luck to all young people standing, no matter what party, thank you for putting your names forward!

Children growing up in poverty are far more likely to leave school without qualifications and end up not in work or education as young adults. By lifting the two-child limit, Labour is breaking that cycle and giving every child the best start in life. Labour is working in Westminster. Elect Labour to Walsall Council and they'll STILL work for you. 🌹

To buy a beer🍻…you have to be 18 To serve in the armed forces🪖, without parental consent, …you have to be 18 To smoke or vape 🚬…you have to be 18, and To learn to drive 🚗... you have to be 17 But the Government wants to give 16-year-olds the vote - all whilst retaining these age-limits. Yet again, Labour is more concerned with political self-interest than common sense. 🙄
