My least creative-but very lucrative-video gig is legal depositions (none of the people in the examples below but I filmed many public figures). This week a questioning attorney asked me & the court reporter to autograph his outline because it was his first depo. It was adorable

Thinking about this JINX: 10 mins into a chat with @gutesmadel about @ThisAmerLife last weekend, and both of us, unprompted 1) brought up roadtrip-friendly episodes and 2) cited the *same* episode. Loon Lake isn't even a Top 25 roadtrip episode for me. (I'm now at 740 eps btw).

@scsceean I'm unsure of its origin but it is a known signature dish of Nagoya. I remember one place with a whole menu devoted to the dish, just with different grades of eel. Tabelog shows a lot of results in Aichi as well. And I was surprised to discover beef mabushi in Kaneyama, Gifu.
