NRC LOVED catching up with Jackie today and are so inspired by the amazing things she has done since her time in the firm! We hope you guys enjoyed the live Tweet session today and got to learn something new!

We love telling Jackie about all of the hard work NRC is doing, and showing her how the roots she planted 2 years ago are growing strong!

Learn how to be flexible, how to communicate and how to stay focussed are a few of the key ways she has learned to manage working virtually!

Getting onboarded remotely in January and just starting at the Golin on a new team was difficult. But it taught her how to strategically manage things and how to find the best ways to make the process move forward and keep the creativity flowing!

At Golin, Jackie works on the Verizon account! She has loved working with small businesses that Verizon supports and making a difference during the pandemic to make sure these businesses stay in tact!

In NRC she is most proud of the connections the firm has made with such incredible clients that have grown so much since her time in the firm!

Take chances! Even if you haven't tried something before give it your best shot and at least you learned something! Always speak up, even if your unfamiliar with the project, take the opportunity to learn from your peers!

Come up with out of the box ideas by staying up to date on the news, look for things that are related to their industry and use the campaigns to inspire big ideas!

Don't let COVID-19 stop you from networking! There are still opportunities to connect and get to know people through virtual events and communication!

Networking is everything. Who you know gets you through the door. But being able to know your own educational worth and having the ability to connect with people on a deeper level is what forms the relationship that can lead to a job!

#1 piece of advise!! NETWORKING - scheduling informational interviews! It shows that you know what they do but you still want to learn more about not only them and their position but about the industry as a whole!

For PR you've got to be flexible, knowing how and when to effectively relay information amidst a troubling social climate!

Her favorite part of PR is that no two days is EVER the same! Things turn around out of nowhere and its so important to be aware of the situation and the industry your client is in!

Knowing how to effectively write emails and even basis level communication is one of the most important parts of PR that can keep your priorities straight and communication as clear as possible!

The variety of experiences she had in NRC has allowed her to be that much more versatile in the industry. She became familiar with writing for actual clients, and knowing the ins and outs of different markets with the varying clients NRC works with

NRC helped her in several different ways, from being a firm director and learning how to delegate responsibilities to staying up to date on the PR industry through the club!
