Year 3 are working hard to research countries for our cultural diversity day linked to the Euros.

We are proud to announce that we now have the IQM Flagship School Award. This award recognises unique schools who have held IQM Centre of Excellence status for at least 3 years; and played a strong leadership role in developing inclusion best practice across a network of schools.

Year 4 have had a curling tournament as part of lour Sports Week. We had some very close games between the four houses with all children showing a good level of sportsmanship , support and competitive spirit. 🥌💪🏽👏🏼🔴🟡🟢🔵🎯📢🎉🥇⛹🏽🪭4️⃣

Reception have managed to get their first class reward this half term. We did a bubble making experiment. We made our bubble wands and mixture adding vegetable oil to one mixture to see if it made them stronger. Good news it did. #outdoorlearning #funinthesun

Science topic in year 4: Living Things and their Habitats. We began today looking at organisms, life processes and classification,the children were tasked with classifying sweets based on their physical characteristics. These were then categorised into Venn and Carroll diagrams.

Year 4 had a very special online guest appearance during our Reading lesson. We were joined by Horrible Histories illustrator, Martin Brown, for some savage stories and deadly drawing to celebrate their new book HORRIBLE HISTORIES: PAWS, CLAWS AND JAWS. #horriblehistories

💐 Art 💐 Today in Art we ventured into the garden to create our own plant looms. Everyone did such a good job, well done Year Three! 🤩

Our new display in the corridor. Every class had a colour and decorated their butterfly in it. We celebrate neurodiversity in our school not just for the day/week/month but every single day of the year :)🧩♾️ 👬👭👫

🏐 Netball 🏐 Year Three have been learning ball skils this half term, They have used these skills in a game of Netball! Well done everyone! 🤩

We have had a busy afternoon learning about Mental Health Awareness week. We have learnt some good tips to get ourselves active, then even played with parachute! We then listened to some relaxing music and completed some mindfulness colouring to calm down at the end of the day.
