@NorthernBurnFC @cm0102SL While I've always been intrigued I can't claim to have followed the league intently. However, I have always been in awe of your graphics, especially the matchday efforts. I'll assume you're a graphic designer - or else you should be. Bravo!

Only the older generation will recognize this one. Beach-Head, published in 1983 by Access Software, is one of the tougher C64 games I have played back in the day. I was 8 or 9 when I first gave it a shot, so maybe that was part of the reason but even in my teenage years I still struggled to get to that final mega-bunker/fortress monstrosity at the end. Beach-Head was commercially successful back in the day, selling around quarter of a million copies, an excellent number for that era. Bruce Carver went on to also make Raid over Moscow one year later - another classic of 80s gaming history, and one that was equally hard (the hangar sequence still gives me PTSD). I think in terms of design and gameplay you can see how the 2 games are related, the vibe feels similar.

An unbelievable end to Season 18 in the CM0102SL Burn and Coast both lose, allowing LSK to sneak past, Fosse hammers Exiles who loses out on a top 2 on goal difference. Unrivalled drama 😮
