Didn’t want to buy a book bc $40. Borrowed it from university library. Took a year of medical leave bc my anxiety got so bad checking my email made me wanna kms. Mostly didnt check email during leave. Missed due/overdue notices, accidentally stole book, charged $90

Last time I renewed my library card the librarian asked if my information was the same, and I said “yeah but can I add a preferred name” and they looked at me and emphatically said “your preferred name *is* your name”

when i got my library card the man told me he couldn’t change the name on it to my chosen name but today when i was getting a new card the woman told me “i noticed you have a different name for your email, i can change the name on your account if you want”

This happened to me! Mine didn’t take any blood levels and said the result “wouldn’t make a difference” to her plan of care. I eventually went around her and got tested at her maximum dose and my E was well below even the conservative WPATH guidelines.

My absolute nuclear take on equal partnership is that bills should be split based on income after tax. If I make 60k and she makes 30k then i pay 2/3rds. Splitting 50/50 on massively unequal incomes is bullshit imo. Borderline financial abuse
