Supernova has implemented one of the first ever character-specific ruleset nerfs in Smash singles history. Steve players will not be able to counter-pick or ban stages versus a non-Steve opponent. ❌ I think this is tremendous progress in a more fair ruleset. Steve mains should be allowed to play, but to pretend that the character isn’t grossly overpowered is also in bad faith. This slight nerf to Steve seems to be a fair compromise to me. Looking forward to see how the experiment plays out.

Full House was once again one of the best Melee events to date.
The Full House crew took very good care of everybody and did their best to ensure a good experience. They even accommodated for people’s dietary restrictions! (shoutout to Rachel👩🍳)
I’ve known the @Lucky7sMelee guys for some years now, being from NY/NJ. Not only do they love the scene, but they are great, competent people that can be trusted.

@sharp_ssbm Looks like he ASDI’d down but the transforming stage put him in a standing state.
He warped above the low plat for a split second but it didn’t help or hurt him, nor did it really affect the angle he was launched at.

@NotAklo I feel like he almost goes at an invisible ceiling angle when the nair hits off stage after the jabs. Am I tripping?
