To be honest on Kalshi vast majority of the markets are made liquid by Wall Street quant market makers or sportsbooks, not even individual humans who are sharps. Kalshi just like to suggest it’s peer to peer cause it sounds more palatable to rec gamblers but they all get crushed there

Idk what people are smoking, there’s not a single exchange product experience for normal people that is remotely close to the delivering the caliber of experience that regulated sportsbooks do. They are 2-3 years of development away (before regulatory touches the product at all)

I agree and not a bad outcome my take was no one gets their shit together in a way that’s compelling enough for casuals to enjoy for 2-3 years, and the pros/tech team to do it will likely be a sportsbook who already proved they can serve mass market casual fans + has great product/eng team.

IMO not really any meaningful sized product anywhere in the world that exists only for pro advantage gamblers to use because by definition they are a business not a customer. Advantage gambling is a business / career in ppls mind. So who’s the customer for that business? It’s only if you combine it with something else eg entertainment / be fun to gamble with in golf or poker or something and ppl don’t mind losing cause you are fun.

Paul and I had a serious disagreement a couple months ago. He was adamant that one does not need to rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I, on the other hand, based on many more years of practical experience, felt that it was absolutely necessary to do so; so much that I considered any other choice reckless and irresponsible. Like other disagreements, we found our way to the truth. It turns out Paul runs his dishwasher after every meal - whereas I (being an empty nester) run it only once or twice a week. Therein lies the difference.

Not gonna lie, this is pretty sick. I’ve come full circle on Bryson, used to hate him, but his YouTube channel completely changed how I see him. If you watch Bryson's content, it feels like a really natural fit.
